I'm Jason.

I'm so glad you're here.

How In The World Does Somebody

Pick the Right Therapist?!

So you typed in counseling or therapy into Google,

and you had no idea there were so many therapists to choose from!

It’s like going to the grocery store for some cereal,

only to be bombarded with 1000s of different flavors.

How do you know which flavor you want?  How long will the cereal last?

Will it still be good a week from now, a month?

Frustrated and overwhelmed, you leave the store with no cereal,

hungrier than ever.

The thought of choosing a therapist

shouldn’t make you too tired to actually go to therapy.

I created this page to help you streamline the decision process

and decide if I might be the right fit for you.

Just like cereal, every therapist is different, and I want you to

feel confident, comfortable, and supported in your decision.

Insert Bulleted List Of Things I've Done

(If you’re one of those people that read the last page of a book first, click here.)

Let’s skip the online resume for half a second.

I’ll have my experience, trainings, education,

and all that other fun stuff listed below.

You’re not here for credentials.

You’re here for help, discovery, and growth.

Let’s see what that can look like.

The clients who are most successful in therapy with me are people who understand that therapy can be hard but know it’s worth it

to create the life they long to have.

They appreciate me actually listening to their story, offering compassion and empathy to their struggles, and supporting their goals and dreams.  They appreciate my straightforward approach, and my willingness to explore the things that they have never told anyone before, processing it all with openness, kindness, and understanding.

Many of my clients have been to a therapist before and didn’t feel understood, cared for, and felt like they never made any progress.

My priority is to support your priorities.

I actively collaborate with you to

bring your dreams for the future

into the present moment.

I Aim To Be The Type Of Therapist

That I Would Want To See

I keep it real, I keep it honest, and I keep it open

I encourage my clients to do the same.

There is no “failure” in therapy.  Everything is welcomed, nothing is off limits.

As a society, we don’t share our hopes, dreams, or struggles with each other anymore.  Share with me.

I’ve found that the clients who experience the best results from therapy

are the ones who have had enough, they're fed up, they're done

They're ready to push through and push past what’s been keeping them stuck.

They're committed to their own growth, follow through, and put in the time necessary to cultivate a life of joy and happiness.

They're ready to give up whatever is no longer serving them.

They’re tired of living a story that they feel like somebody else wrote,

filled with feelings of inadequacy, depression, and anxiety.

They’re ready to become the author of their life and bring about lasting change.
