I Help Anxious, Depressed, & Trauma Surviving

Adults, Teens, & Couples

Find Hope, Create Healing, & Discover Connection.

Adulting is hard.  Your anxiety has anxiety.  Your depression has depression.

You feel alone…in a crowded room, even with friends or family…always alone.

You feel hopeless, exhausted, like you can’t get out of bed,

all the while, your mind won’t stop racing

”Am I good enough?” “Did I take out the trash?” “Does my partner love me?”

“Will I pass this test?” “I don’t want to study for this test!”

“Did I brush my teeth today?”

…and on and on and on.

You wonder why your mind never stops running

and simultaneously feel like you’re walking through mud.

The ups and downs of this rollercoaster has you feeling beat up, tired, and unsatisfied.

If you’re ready to get off this ride,

if you’re feeling anxious, depressed, lonely, or traumatized,

you’ve come to the right place.

You're Ready to Live a Life of Joy, Peace, & Purpose.

Beginning therapy can be confusing and scary, so I’ve made it easier than ever to find the help you’re looking for.

Please take a look around and if you like what you see, give me a call, send me an email, or schedule a

free, no-obligation online session.

I’d love to help you get started today.

Here Are My Specialties:

Anxiety & Perfectionism

Depression & Loneliness

Trauma

(Post Traumatic Stress Disorder / PTSD)

Your mind doesn’t seem to stop. It bounces from thought to thought to thought like a monkey bouncing in a cage. You never feel good enough. You earned an amazing promotion, but you still feel like you need to work harder. You long for peace and quiet. You long to feel enough. Therapy will help you to calm your monkey mind, find peace and quiet, and begin to feel complete in who you are.

You feel like you’re walking in quicksand or sloshing through the mud. You’re sad, tired, and trying to find a purpose. Despite being “connected" across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), you feel disconnected and alone. Contentment, joy, and happiness seem just outside your grasp. Discover your inner smile again, learn to feel connected to your friends, family, and even yourself, and develop the tools to overcome the dark cloud that’s been hanging over your head.

You have been through the literal wringer. You feel beat-up, torn, broken, scared, and angry. You avoid the things you used to love. What happened to you has tried to take over your identity and everything you hold dear.  Learn to heal the trauma, discover who you really are, and reclaim your life.

Frequently

Asked

Questions

Where are you located?

My practice is located at Renew Counseling in Winter Park. We are at 611 North Wymore Road, Suite #202 in the Claytons' office building, conveniently located right off of the Lee Road exit on I4.

How long does

therapy last?

As short as possible and as long as it takes. Every person has a unique story to explore, and each story requires a different amount of time.  Many of my clients see progress within a few short months.

Do you have evening appointments available?

Absolutely.  I keep a flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of my clients. Evening times tend to fill up weeks in advance, so if you have some flexibility in your schedule, I can see you much sooner. Click here to learn more about my availability.

Do you take insurance?

While I do not participate as an in-network provider, I am happy to give you assistance and provide any documents you need in order to file an insurance claim. As a private-pay practice, your mental health records do not get added to your medical records, maintaining your privacy.

Do you see couples?

The more the merrier!  Our lives never involve just us, so whether you need to sort things out for yourself or together with your partner, parents, children, or anyone else for that matter, I’m here for what you need.

Are you a Christian counselor?

My training is in evidence-based practices, allowing me to work with people from all walks of life. If spirituality and religion are important to you, then it’s important to me. If it’s not, then we’ll leave spirituality and religion off the table. I consider myself a follower of Jesus, and my faith, as well as my training, allows me to help you create the life you’re looking for, regardless of your spiritual beliefs.
